Job description


We are looking for you as a Kubernetes Engineer and Cloud-Native professional to design and scale up highly available systems on top of Kubernetes for our customers on AWS, GCP, Azure, OTC and OpenStack. You'll work togehter with a world-class team to develop new and enhance existing capabilities and solutions for Kubernetes' adoption by our customers.

 

Kubernetes Engineer reponsiblities are:

  • Plan, design and implement large scale enterpise soultions
  • Enjoy building and securely shipping working apps
  • Work in the open source community, help others and ask for help
  • Develop Helm Charts and contribute the work to the community
  • Help our customers to use the cloud-native stack and take their services infrastructure to the next level
  • You are willing to travel for business purposes

Kubernetes Engineer requirements are:

  • 3+ years' experience of working on large scale distributed systems
  • Significant experience in designing secure distributed solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes or Mesos (DC/OS) or Docker Swarm or Cloud Foundry
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack or CloudFormation
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Degree in a relevant technical field; additional certification such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator, coming soon) will be a bonus

  • You are an active open source advocate and cloud-native community lover
  • You'd love to code in Golang and contribute your work to Kubernetes community
  • You've experience with OpenStack, CloudStack, AWS, GCP or Azure
  • You've experience with real time data processing and big data analytics
  • You understand the basics of Continious Container Security 

 

Location

Place of work is Cologne, Germany. Working from home office up to 30% is possible. Our job openings are full-time employment opportunities.
