Stephan Hartmann becomes second managing director of Clouds Sky GmbH

Cologne. As of 01.01.2018 Mr. Stephan Hartmann became the new second managing director of the company. As a result, he will be managing director alongside Arash Kaffamanesh and has held 50% of the shares since the beginning of the year. Clouds Sky GmbH, which was founded in 2010 as one of the first cloud startups in Germany, is thus reorganizing itself in order to be able to grow significantly and professionally support and advise both new business areas and new customers.

Most recently, Stephan Hartmann has worked closely with Clouds Sky GmbH with his own company "metamesh". He brings with him many years of experience in the development of powerful web portals using open source cloud solutions and the development of applications for smartphones (apps). This allowed both young startups and large companies a simple and cost-effective way to manage web content. He also developed inter alia a smartphone app for Android for field service deployment tracking.

"I am delighted that we have found with Stephan Hartman a cloud expert who will successfully develop the previously adopted strategy of Clouds Sky GmbH. Through his profound experience with both large and medium-sized companies and start-ups he can give important, future-oriented impulses for Clouds Sky GmbH, "said Managing Director Arash Kaffamanesh.

Mr. Hartmann will focus his responsibilities at Clouds Sky GmbH on development and finance.

Clouds Sky GmbH has successfully been offering private cloud computing solutions based on the open source cloud software "Open Stack" and the content management platform "OpenCms" for seven years. In addition, it helps large companies, e.g. from the auto industry or the chemical sector to implement business critical applications and has made a name for itself in the field of cloud consulting. She advises clients throughout Germany on multi-cloud management, microservices development, orchestration with Kubernetes, Cloud Native Technology and DevOps.
