We are Partner of Open Cloud Alliance, a union of cloud service providers, independent software vendors, value added resellers and system integrators. We work on a mutual platform, that allows us to offer customers a cloud experience that gives them choice and control.
The principle of the Open Cloud Alliance
On the basis of Univention Corporate Server (UCS), a leading Open Source platform for IT infrastructure and identity management, we create a standardized platform for software vendors, cloud hosters and system integrators. The management system of this platform is able to connect and integrate with already existing infrastructures and directories such as Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP. This allows cloud hosters to offer a wide portfolio of enterprise applications without having to integrate them manually. And at the same time software vendors can support a growing number of cloud service providers by integrating their solutions in just one single open platform.
Why OCA?
The Open Cloud Alliance with UCS as technical basis and the already existing enterprise apps is the perfect platform to offer really open cloud services. Especially as a young cloud start-up it is important to offer a wide range of applications to SMBs and realize our vision “for openness”.
